Metropolitan PoliceExecutive Coaching

Tee co-ordinated a team of Executive Coaches for candidates reaching their third year of the Metropolitan Police’s High Potential Scheme. Tee matched each candidate with an Executive Coach and then individual six session programmes were designed. Time between sessions was flexible and so some candidates opted for an intense time frame and others spread sessions out over several months.

Tee providing Executive Coaching for six candidates herself, and has continued to work with two candidates after they graduated from the High Potential Scheme to offer ongoing career guidance.

“The coaching support Tee has provided has been invaluable. Her caring, enthusiastic and encouraging style has given me the boost I needed when I needed it most. This has been a great investment in my future”

Nicola Chaplin – High Potential Scheme Graduate – Metropolitan Police

For the High Potential Groups as a whole Tee also led programmes in Mentoring, Influencing and Managing Conflict and co-ordinated programmes in Assertiveness and Presentation Skills.

British Airways - Influencing Skills

Tee led Influencing Skills courses for British Airways staff over two periods lasting four years in total. Tee went on to design an influencing  programme that could be run by BA in-house and trained a group to lead the programmes. This Influencing programme, with it’s accompanying manual, is now part of the core training for British Airways staff throughout Europe, N.America and Asia.

Tee has also given a series of motivational talks on Influencing to British Airways staff.

NIKE - Presentation Skills

As a former Nike Fitness Athlete Tee was delighted to be asked to return to Nike’s European Head Quarters to teach Presentation Skills. Nike’s staff are fortunate to have amazing visual material to work with and Tee thoroughly enjoyed the job of helping support those new to the presenting area as well as working with experienced presenters to raise their game to a new level of excellence.

All Nike delegates received a dvd of themselves to take home with footage of excerpts from the day on including their individual coaching session with Tee. Following the course they received a list of their presentation strengths, which they were encouraged to build on, and a ‘tool-box’ of tips and techniques that Tee designed specifically for each person.

“ Tee Dobinson is a true professional and we value her input highly.”

London Borough of Tower Hamlets - Line Management Training

Tee has worked with this Inner London borough since 2001, as well as being Executive Coach to members of the senior management Tee has led a large number of Team Building events across the council and has been the Keynote Speaker at a series of launches.

Tee has also developed and co-ordinated an ILM Award in First Line Management course and two ILM Certificate in First Line Management courses, the latter each involving thirty-two days of study over a twelve month period. As well as leading many of the days herself Tee was course tutor to all candidates dealing with all assignments and providing coaching and support on many aspects.

Surrey County Council - Customer Service Skills

Surrey County Council’s Shared Service centre wanted to extend the already high level of customer service responses their staff were providing and support them managing difficult or unpleasant conversations. As it was difficult to release people for a whole day Tee designed a programme that could be run in two interactive sessions, each lasting three hours.

Tee led many of the sessions that over two hundred people attended herself and the following year Surrey County Council’s Shared Service centre went on to win ‘Best Shared Service Centre of the Year’.
