Let me count the ways... frankly it's impossible, even by the end of the first day my mental check list is overflowing (I always notice when things are done well, can't help it). After landing by seaplane at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru I feel I've arrived in location and design heaven. Everything looks and feels perfect, actually more than perfect (not technically possible I know, but true). I had high expectations (it's the staggering beautiful Maldives, it's the consistently excellent Four Seasons and the resort is in my travel-writing-husband's Worldwide Top Ten) yet time and again they exceeded those expectations. Customer service was exceptional and one thing I hadn't counted on was the happiness factor - there are smiles everywhere, both staff and guests. Resort Manager Martin is a treasure, great company (he took us to dinner) and an all round great guy (he was fasting to share the Ramandan experience of his staff) and everyone seems to genuinely love working at this resort situated in the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. 70% of guests make a return visit. I will be happy to make this 71%.
