Arnaud is having a Welcome Party at SixtyOne Restaurant this evening where he is now Chef Patron. I am excited to be attending as Arnaud is quite amazing 1) because when he was at the Gherkin he gave me a recipe for the Swiss Re Cookbook for the NSPCC 2) because he let my son draw him for the cookbook and 3) because, and most importantly for you the reader, his food is simply divine. I ate lunch at SixtyOne in December and it was superb, every course was really excellent. I loved his food at Searcys The Gherkin, but he is surpassing even those high standards it seems.
Party was wonderful, packed with press, celebs and Mayfair locals with everyone having a good time – and the food (which just kept coming and coming) was totally delicious. Arnaud Stevens – a name to watch out for. SixtyOne – a restaurant to try now!
